Beau needs a dog savvy home that appreciates his need for love, a companion dog friend and training. He's full of energy, and really lives life in the present. He especially enjoys playing ball and going for long walks. But he also has a quiet side.

Beau was originally a rescue from Hurricane Katrina by the ASPCA. He had been in several homes before making his way to Best Friends where he has come a long way.

Beau isn't perfect; he will need a dog savvy home that appreciates a loveable cuddle bug, and is willing to work with him on his food guarding, nipping and sometimes hard nipping when pushed. But he's waited so patiently since the hurricane for someone to come along and claim him.
