"Can I feel safe with you?"

Esther is a little shy when you first meet her. But if you make her feel safe, she'll be yours forever! She loves being friends and longs to be a forever friend for someone.

Esther was found in South Carolina, tied to a tree with her mother and brother. What a terrible fate! But she was rescued, and now, she's hoping there's somebody who will take her in and show her the time and patience she needs in order to trust.

Esther is healthy, born in August 2004, who enjoys playing with other male dogs but not with female dogs. She's very affectionate once she gives her heart away. And she knows how to sit politely for food and treats.

Esther's caregivers affectionately call her the "Esther Bunny".
