A well-mannered love.

Ruth is a gentle soul with people and unlike most pities who give never-ending slobbery kisses. Ruth gives perfect little kisses at just the right times! She will nudge you or put her head in your lap when she wants your love and affection, and will paw at you gently when she wants a treat or a walk. 

Before coming to Best Friends, Ruth spent her entire life on a chain outside, so she's a little unsure on how to respond to affection and freezes until she is sure everything is ok.  She would love for you to reassure her that your love is genuine.

Ruth chews up her doggie bed sometimes, but that's are her only bad habit. Ruth and is wonderful to take on walks, she's mild-mannered, and can be picky when meeting new dogs, but is okay as long as they're non-threatening like her.

Ruth loves to hide her bones and take naps.  She also loves it when you talk to her or feed her, and shows her happiness by wagging her tail with glee!
